One of these days I'll get over to Takara - it is at least BARTable, unlike the selection of other local sake places I'd like to see which need vehicles. I have not yet acquired a palate for sake in the least, but wouldn't mind trying.

I have gotten the Kinpaku as a champagne alternative for New Year's or other fancy celebrations, and people who don't like champers often find it a nice alternative. (It's also cheap to have shipped!) And while I realize it's hideously un-traditional, I like some of the fruit sakes they also make.
