First Openly Gay Race Horse
This was sent to me because the interview at "Ship Captain's" home stable were shot at the barn I used to work and ride at back east.
The horse playing Captain was kicked in the head by one of his stablemates the other day, however, Val assures me this was not a hate crime, merely horse play. He's currently under a vet's care, is doing just fine and is expected to make a full recovery. (Not as a race horse, though, it's a hunter/jumper barn.)
