Trees become shadows
Raising ragged arms as if
To haunt the still street.
Somewhere in the fog a train
Wails warning as it passes.

Really? It's been a rough month. It seems like every night I sit in front of my computer watching the time tick off, trying to think of something to write because I must write something or fail the challenge.
