For those who weren't there, one of my favorite moments was this: after Hana swore fealty in Japanese, His Majesty Rolf said (as the ceremony script specifies): "This do we hear, nor will we fail to remember...." in *exactly* the right tone of voice (i.e. "I have no idea what the hell you just said, but this is what the script says I'm supposed to say").

He has a great sense of theater and pulled it off perfectly. Everybody broke out laughing. ;)

P.S. And that was not the only laugh. As was entirely appropriate.
