Ideas for what's next.

The plan is to have Mitsuhide's obi finished this weekend. Getting it to him is a whole 'nother thing as I have agents attempting to establish contact with his knight...

[profile] didjiman did not mention dessert for tomorrow's gathering. I must see what the fruit looks like at the market tonight. Pie, I think.
EDIT: Pie, definitely. They had pippins. They had gorgeous pears too. Half pear/half pippin apple with some currants thrown in makes heavenly pie.... I also remembered I had a package of brats in the freezer that can go along to be grilled if anyone is into that.

A sugoroko board that can double as a camp box.  I'm not sure why I'm jonesing for this right now, but the idea's been perking in my brain for awhile. A six-board box with an unhinged, lift-out lid. I can't do actual maki-e, (at least I don't think I can) but I'm pretty sure I can imitate the effect with good quality paints.

Take a whack at doing shibori - or tie dye for the obsessive compulsive. On a small scale. First. To see if I'm patient enough to use it on a kosode. I love how kanoko shibori looks. (A red and white kosode. With stripes maybe....)

Sometimes we ONLY get dessert, sometimes ... nothing :-). It goes all over the place. I have stopped trying to coordinate :-)

I hear that. They call it potluck for a reason.

That game looks neat.

I haven't played two-sided backgammon in years, but Seven-Sided Backgammon is a blast.
