Guilty pleasures

Guilt
What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: Whopper with cheese, hold the tomato Sometimes the only thing that will do is a big, messy deathburger.
Literary: Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series .....which I admit I have not kept up with. I don't normally DO romance novels.
Audiovisual: Mythbusters The gratuitous "will they blow themselves up this week" thrill brings back fond memories of Sundays in Tanaka's basement.
Musical: They Might Be Giants I defy anyone not to feel cheerful after listening to these viral nonsequiturs
Celebrity: Russell Crowe What's to explain? It's the unexpected giggle he let loose in the 60 Minutes interview. Freakin' adorable....

Now I tag: Nobody. Be a grownup and play or not as you like. No guilt here!

Pleasures about which I feel no guilt whatsoever

Culinary:
Sashimi, particularly sake (salmon) and maguro (tuna).
Toblerone dark.
Fresh bing cherries.
Extra sharp cheddar.
Chocolate raspberry anything.

Literary:
Salman Rushdie's "Haroun and the Sea of Stories" and "Beneath Her Feet."
Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey & Maturin series.
Sei Shonagon's "The Pillow Book."
Lindsay Davis' Marco Didius Falco mystery series.
Lois McMaster Bujold's Miles Vorkosigan SF series.

Audiovisual:
HBO's "Rome" and "Deadwood" (I hooked my Dad on the former after he hooked me on the latter).
The late, lamented "Babylon 5" and "Firefly."
Stumbling on a hitherto unknown gem on IFC.

Musical:
I am an omnivore. I like a lot of different things. While it would be too long to list here, I will say that I'm a sucker for tight vocal harmony - singing it or listening to it.

Celebrity:
Peter O'Toole, still giving great king in his 70's and making Brad Pitt look like a barely sentient fire hydrant in "Troy."
