Things that.... November 3.

Thing #1. People are rising to the tanka challenge. I've seen some really good poems so far too.

Thing #2. I get out of work at 4 PM which should give me enough time to stand in line, cast my vote, then hunker down with my new Musketeer DVDs for the evening. I'm sick of daily emails from the Democratic National Committee and having my music interrupted by despicable 30-second lies and sign stealers and Sarah Palin's wardrobe budget and the egregious misuse of the word "maverick" and the taking of the name "Joe" in vain and cut-and-paste political memes and hatefulness and hysteria and people who don't even live in my state telling me what to vote for and I cannot wait for it to be DONE.

Thing #3. Live is WAY more attractive than dead. Keep your pasty-ass vampires.
Exhibit A, Actor Alexander Skarsgard alive:          Exhibit B, Alexander Skarsgard undead.

Ohyeah, I agree. I think he's making more money being an anciently old viking vampire though.

Sgt. Colbert at least got some good speeches too. Eric just looks moody.

I think it's just bad color resolution on the publicity still, but I couldn't find anything decent. Still you can sorta see the red-under-the-eyes and cyanotic lip color the make-up artists for TB have been using on the vampire characters.

Never heard of the guy, don't normally care for blonds, but, this guy, like every guy I've ever seen looks *much* better to me with long hair. But then, I *hate* short hair on anyone. Always have, probably always will.

Sexiest part of a man is between his ears, ya know.

On that part, we agree 100%!

Pretty packing without a brain? No thanks!

The right brain doesn't need pretty packaging. (but, both can be nice...)

In the case of these two photos, I agree: peroxide blond hair doesn't look good on anyone.

In the larger case of cinematic vamps in general, it depends: sometimes ya feel like a nut, sometimes ya don't :-)
