Water continues to fall from the sky
I know we need it, but not being able to get my miles in yesterday OR today is sucketh greatly.
The mail carrier continues to leave the mailboxes OPEN despite weather conditions, assuring the the contents are on their way to becoming papier mache by the time I retrieve them in the afternoon.
I pried one large envelope from the perverted, clammy embrace of the PG&E bill, then thundered upstairs to open it. Creamy card stock. The simple elegance of italic font. The direction at the bottom: "Please R.S.V.P. by April 9th, 2009 or Morbo will Destroy You!"
I have but one question: Are the bride and groom registered at Spencer's Gifts?
(I'll probably wait one more week to book my flight: fares tend to be a little lower if it's under the 60 day mark.)
