Bored!
Holding down the front desk in a half empty building. The phone hasn't rung in hours. I can hear Gracie coughing and she's all the way down the hall. To top it off, we're not closing early.
For
ladycelia in complete random disarray as I think of them, here are some non-Guy-Ritchie "caper" movies that I like.
How to Steal a Million (1966).
The Hot Rock (1972). Haven't seen it in ages and not sure how well it holds up, but I remember liking this.
Topkapi (1964)
The Thomas Crown Affair. Either one, because McQueen is just so cool. The Brosnan/Russo remake is also excellent, particularly the sequence at the end involving multiple Thomas Crowns in bowler hats. (Thanks to
sengokudaimyo for reminding me of it in one of his recent posts).
The Sting (1973).
The Score (2001).
A Fish Called Wanda (1988).
Inside Man (2006).

Love, love, love {Topkapi" and "The Sting". Already mentioned how I feel about "How to Steal a Million". "Wanda" is good, but I haven't seen it since it came out, and I'm not sure how it would hold up. Ditto "Hot Rock".
The other two I was not familiar with at all. I'll keep my eyes peeled for opportunities to see them.
