Not goin' there, you can't make me.
"Blah blah negative self talk blah blah meme to make us poor unempowered wimmens feel good about ourselves."
Nope. I am not going to pat myself on the back five times. (I have people for that, you know.)
I don't need to.
I don't have to.
You can't make me.
Yes, I am being a pain in the ass. Of course, I am being a pain in the ass. I am Pain In The Ass, Hear Me Roar.
Pride and Vainglory were two out of the seven deadly sins. Modesty is a virtue, as is humility. I need more of the latter in my life, not less.

How would it be if I just said I'm glad to be me? It would be hell if I suddenly swapped bodies with a Japanese lady. No matter how well the kimono fits.

Sounds like it is based on the 5 daily (or weekly) positive-self-affirmations thing put forward by a prominent UC Psych professor that is supposed to induce better self-confidence and general feelings of well-being results in people of any gender, according to a psych-student study (There is one person on my F-list who posts this sort of thing, often, weekly; this person is a grad student, & like many such perhaps prone to depression over $$$$$ of school and stuff, so it probably could be helpful for that...)
My operative #1 Deadly Sin is Wrath, anyway... XD

Heh. Mine, too.
