Waiting out the clock

If it weren't for the Strauss waltz emanating from my desk radio, this place would be a complete tomb.

I am not going to drive up to Brushy Creek after work as previously planned. It's cats'n'doggin' outside. Weather reports for the area indicate the rain will end in the middle of the night and it should be partly cloudy with only a 20% chance of precipitation tomorrow, so I'll just get up early and make the drive tomorrow.

We'll be at the Hilton Garden Inn in Emeryville tonight, if you care to join us for a steampunky cocktail :-) (I believe Jean Martin is having one of her birthday parties there)

Tempting. What time?

Good question. Andy is already there. I get out of work at 6 to drive up there.

Best bet is to give him a call.

I was going to ask you which Strauss waltz, but if it's Johann, then it won't matter because they all sound the same anyway.

I had to do a little "research" on Lala.com because I didn't know the name of it. It's the "Southern Roses."
