A genteel and civilized afternoon.
Dear LJ:
Still not queen. Still not getting any.
So I put on my red vintage clip on earrings, my "movie star" dress from J Peterman, some sandals and my floppy white sun hat and went to tea. OK, fine, so I'm never gonna look like Sophia Loren, but it's still a great dress, and a not-bad-on-me hat and the 60's earrings went frighteningly well with it. joycebre for hosting a relaxing way to spend an afternoon with friends away from the SCA for a change, and for having the good sense not to try and do it all herself and rely on the services of Trader Joe for some of the treats.
