Dear LJ:

Still not queen. Still not getting any.

So I put on my red vintage clip on earrings, my "movie star" dress from J Peterman, some sandals and my floppy white sun hat and went to tea. OK, fine, so I'm never gonna look like Sophia Loren, but it's still a great dress, and a not-bad-on-me hat and the 60's earrings went frighteningly well with it. Thanks to joycebre  for hosting a relaxing way to spend an afternoon with friends away from the SCA for a change, and for having the good sense not to try and do it all herself and rely on the services of Trader Joe for some of the treats.

Love it that someone had a real tea party on Labor Day. Sounds like it was a lovely time.
