Ei. Wa. Chi. DAMMIT
Mar. 6th, 2007 03:38 pmHe's up to twenty one posts. He desperately needs to get a life.
And somebody actually posted the phrase "harshs my medieval Western European groove."
Like wow, man. Dig your cotehardie, man, it's like, wow, man. (OK, I grew up back east. It still weirds me out when people actually talk like this...)
And the poor newbie who posted in the first place has been woefully silent. If That Person has scared him off, it's a damned shame.

My monkey-brain
Date: 2007-03-07 12:34 am (UTC)My monkey-brain wants to drink some gin, sit in the corner, and quietly rock in the corner until it stops hurting...

Date: 2007-03-07 01:16 am (UTC)While I am not personally interested in exploring Eastern Cultures, I want to celebrate those who do. Finding more bout any culture is always a good thing, finding the beauty in a culture and it's history is always a good thing. Actively stomping all over it ..................... that makes me cranky and sad. Besides one never knows when I might see something pretty and want to ask questions so I have a better understanding.
Come to the dark side, Moi

Date: 2007-03-07 05:09 am (UTC)Randomness involving sake
Date: 2007-03-07 05:23 am (UTC)I liked the Asian pear very much - fruity but not overly sweet. The raspberry was also pretty good. Probably trying to cater to people who like Japanese plum wine, their plum sake is quite sweet (this was the one I pronounced the girliest sake I have ever had. Cannot comment upon the peach as I have not had it.
My boss bought me a bottle of this for Christmas, which got cracked and drunk at Estrella. Gotta love the name, no? And it's GOOD stuff. http://www.esake.com/Store/bin/US-lineup/Rihaku-USA/rihaku-usa.html
Take all this knowing that I am by no means a connosieur. I am still learning and trying different things. I should go to Takara for a tasting some day. But how would I get home?
