Sigh. Feeling a bit of envy here, I *miss* camping events! We did have an all weekend event recently over the Australia Day holiday, but the site was a scout camp, so most folks stayed in the bunk house, and most activities happened in the (ugly, 1970's style) hall.
I put up my pavilion, but it was the only one on site. There were a few modern tents, but very widely spaced, and at no time did the atmosphere ever approach "camping event", even when compared to small ones I used to attend when I was in Summits...
Please enjoy the event for me, since I can't be there!
