Conspicuous to my eyes as absent are Kurt Vonnegut, Pirsig's "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance,", the anonymous "Go Ask Alice."
Given that my father was teaching Chinua Achebe in a college level course, it's interesting to see "Things Fall Apart" in here. I found the writing style didn't grab me, but the premise was interesting.
