I encountered the following snippet of WTF in an online article today.
"Through the prism of the international media we are getting a pretty negative impression of China," said John Delury, at the Asia Society in New York. "People who watch things closely in China will see the real story was the world being a bad guest."

Because even Mr. Delury deserves context, I went looking to see where this came from. Read more here - unless you think it will raise your blood pressure.

I suspect the people of Tibet could educate Mr. Delury on the subject of Chinese hospitality.

Then there's this guy: Huang Xiang.
This video turned up on cable this evening
Watch the whole thing. Oh, to write like THAT!
His poetry is wondrous - and I am going to have to look for more of it!

EDIT: Here's one of the ones Mr. Huang does on the video:

SINGING ALONE

Who am I
I am the lonely soul of a waterfall
A poem
Dwelling forever in Solitude
My drifting song is a dream's wandering
Trace
My only audience
The still

We should probably check his bank account for very large deposits of late.

What an ass. He should be slapped upside his pointy head and then buried in coffee grounds. OH! I'm sorry. Was that my outside voice again? I'm such a bad buddhist.
