Can potty humor be cute?
Feb. 11th, 2007 11:21 amOK, we were discussing the Japanese cult of the sickeningly cute over on the Tousando and somebody posted this especially for me because it had monkeys in it.

Does the fact that I laughed out loud make me a bad person? Everybody thinks Saionji-hime is such a class act. On the other hand, potty humor is very Japanese. I don't know! I'm so confused! (I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not go "Squee!" I shall not......")
For those who do not know the connotation, the Japanese see a rabbit in the moon and he's supposed to be pounding rice to make mochi (a gelatinous marshmallowy-like rice cake)
