Cacophony with kick
Feb. 25th, 2007 07:40 pmI did it. I bid on and won a 3 watt battery powered amplifier and a transducer, both on eBay. For a total investment of under $40, I can unleash the destructive power of this Death Sta-, er, I mean, give my quiet little hurdy gurdy a little help in noisy venues. Besides, I figure the fact that I actually spent money on it may make me get out there and use it.
In other breaking news, we have succeeded in locating the Outlands fighter who accidentally sidelined Lady Victoria in Estrella's Saturday bridge battle and took her place in the rank of Western unbelts who held the bridge against his fellows - and I may have helped. Mabbina emailed me a copy of his post to the Outlands list, I shot it to Sir Leon and within a couple of hours, Loðurr Havskjold of Al Barran had most handsomely made contact. I love happy endings.
I spent part of the day noodling with my website. I also spent part of the day doing some budget planning because I really would love to get to Pennsic this year and hang with my homies from Rusted Woodlands, yo. And my homies from anywhere else that may be there, yo. Airline free baggage allowance is a whopping 100 pounds. I can travel light. But where am I going to put Saionji's monster bughat?
