V is for Victory
Jul. 25th, 2007 09:13 pmVictory on the Work Front:
Upping the deadline by 24 hours for our construction people to submit their time-cards has helped a lot. We are at our busiest time of the year and payroll is up to 20 batches (or 500 time-cards) instead of the 15 or so we had earlier this spring. I had ten batches completed when I left work on Tuesday at 4 and I had Batch 20 entered, photocopied and sorted at 10:30 AM today - when it was supposed to be done.
Victory on the A&S Front:
Because if ONE person gets it, I win. Someone has actually contacted me about sewing kosode this weekend at A&S for the Fettburg Tanabata event. Since my camping gear left for Pennsic this morning, I'm going to find a nice shady tree, lay out my rug and we can work there at our leisure.
allergicone, I haven't forgotten my note to you. I'll toss some music into my pack and we can sit and sing for a bit this weekend if you like. Be good for us both. Maybe you can teach me Ecco la Primavera or something.

danabren, the Young Gentleman has RSVP'd. Do count him in.
