Regency in a week?
Mar. 1st, 2008 11:50 amBodice is pleated into skirt. "Landmarks" were all wrong since skirt is five pieces of silk pieced together instead of four, the wages of using 16" wide Japanese silk. Front pleats had to be redone as a result because I got distracted by "The Full Monty." I am going to treat myself to lunch outside of the apartment somewhere, then come back and hem this sucker.
Edit: I was bad. I went to Carl Jrs. and had a Six Dollar Bacon Cheeseburger because dammit, after this week, I needed a treat - and the protein hit, especially since dinner will probably be an apple and some cheese before I start struggling with my hair and getting ready for the ball.
It's hemmed. I have come to the conclusion that POC Dead Man's Chest is a dumbass movie and I'm really glad I did not pay ten bucks to see it in a theater because I ended up switching over to one of the digital radio channels on my cable station while I finished up. It fits. It's gorgeous. And I am relieved that I will be wearing gloves this evening, because the tip of my right middle finger is hamburger after pushing needles through silk all week.
