1. What is your favorite word?
I have to pick just one? How limiting. How narrow. You haven't been paying any attention to this journal at all, have you?

2. What is your least favorite word?
I'm not terribly wild about "mundane."

3. What turns you on?
Intelligence. Look around at the people whose company I enjoy.

4. What turns you off?
Willful stupidity.

5. What sound or noise do you love?
Surf or running water. Tight vocal harmonies regardless of musical genre.

6. What sound or noise do you hate?
Boom cars.

7. What is your favorite curse word?
See #1 above. Words are better than Legos. Even those kind. There are times when they are exactly what is needed.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Wealthy philanthropist and patron of the arts. It chaps my hide when I get my member publications from the Asian Art Museum and I see listings for programs and activities that can only be attended by people who don't work Monday through Friday 9-5.

No, better yet, museum curator.

Travel writer (or travel TV host).

9. What profession would you not like to do?
Dentist.
