Appearing on the Letter of Intent as Saionji no Harae, the forms have the given name as Hanae. Unfortunately, no evidence could be found of the use of Hanae before 1600. As the submitter allowed the given name to be changed to the related name Hana, which was in use before 1600, we have made that change to register the name.

Her previous name, Jehanne de Wodeford, is retained as an alternate name."

EDIT: Thanks to cryptocosm  for his assistance during the submission process.  When I think of the nonsense I went through with the submission of Jehanne's device several years ago, this went surprisingly smoothly, even with the Hanae/Hana issue.

A single misstep

That's right. My left knee feels like I did something to it. I just don't know what - or when. Given the nature of the current piece we're working on, I had to send regrets to my sensei and forego taiko tonight.

Pardon me while I download the Oscar Peterson Trio doing songs from West Side Story instead.

I was reminded of it the other day when I heard Peterson on 1920's Radio.

My parents had this baby on vinyl and I probably knew it better than the soundtrack from the musical (which we did not have). 

Unfortunately, I cannot share with you the awesomeness of what Peterson does to "Something's Coming," so this'll have to do.
