Four inches by my haircutter's account, more like three by mine, off the bottom has cleaned up some battered ends.

Got a message today that Susan of Micah & Susan might also try to make a three color mochi and mochi brownies for the event, so I picked up a bag of white limas which are soaking at the moment. I'll cook, sieve and sweeten them tomorrow night and make mochi first thing Friday morning before driving to the event site. I have honey, toasted sesame seeds and that rose syrup [livejournal.com profile] ladycelia  gave me to experiment with. It's gonna be a Mochi Throwdown. ;-D Someone else has volunteered to make green tea cookies. It'll all work out somehow. The fact that the tea is Monday AM and we're likely to lose population to tear down means we may not have quite so many people to feed.

Onigiri I can make onsite, which means it doesn't have to take up cooler space any longer than necessary.

Gonna camp with Gwenhwyfaer, Edward and his son, which means sharing dinners and breakfasts with them and maybe not having to set up an entire kitchen of my own unless I really want to. I volunteered to do a scramble skillet one morning and dish-monkey as needed, subject to the requirements of my service on court.

Just hope we don't get bad weather. NOAA currently says there's a chance of showers on Friday and Saturday. Night time lows are gonna be in the 30's, daytime highs upper 50's to 60's.
