For the rain it raineth every day
Dec. 2nd, 2012 09:41 amThe Bay Area has been experiencing a wave of storms off the Pacific this week and I was awakened several times last night to the throes of Round Three.
As you may or may not know, my apartment features a rudimentary roof skylight that can be opened or closed. It is directly over the stairs between the second and third floor. This morning I felt a damp patch of carpet on the way downstairs. It's not a bad leak: in fact, it has to rain this hard to happen and I can;;t see where it's actually coming in, it's so gradual. However, it does mean I will be staying in today and rotating towels on and off until the storm gets done with its bad self.
