Contemplations of a Closet Curmudgeon

I once had ants that came up through the crawl space vent by the heater, went up the wall, around the edge of the ceiling of a long shotgun kitchen, down by the oven, across the counter that ran the length of the kitchen, onto the floor, across the floor, and into the nail keg of dog food. The nail keg of dog food that was approximately two feet from where the ants came up from the crawl space.
