I will not be attending Mists Investiture tomorrow. I'm still doing Orange Shooters Of Yuck (some generic daytime cold liquid that's two bucks cheaper than the name brand with the same active ingredients). On the other hand, the needle on the scale has dropped a pound off the plateau I've been stuck on since Easter.

What I should do is make an early night of it tonight and get some sleep, then try to get some work done on JAF's commissioned clothing. I haven't heard boo from him since I ordered the fabric and with all the events on consecutive weekends I haven't done more than launder and press the linen. Get 'em done, send him a message with an invoice and get my rocker back.

Just caught part of a movie called "Goya's Ghosts" on cable. Inquisitorial badness, Napoleonic badness, Javier Bardem badness, directed by Milos Forman ("Amadeus") with Stellan Skarsgard (as Goya), Natalie Portman and an almost unrecognizable Randy Quaid playing successfully against type. Well acted, but pretty grim and I confess I have no idea how much it deviates from fact.
