I was also extremely disappointed with the recent King Kong. Actually, we've been disappointed with all the ape remake movies lately -- Mighty Joe Young and Planet of the Apes were so not worth watching.
Gorillas are indeed noble and handsome creatures. We have great affection for them in my house.
