Taking Pictures

A great way to spend the afternoon.
karisu_sama invited me to the Emeryville Taiko Dojo's New Year's open house. En route, I stopped by the Berkeley Marina and took a few shots of the Bay looking wintry. I rather like the sky in this one: 
The following are some of the shots I got of the traditional New Year's mochi pounding at Emeryville Taiko's Open House. I am extremely pleased with these. The rest of the set can be seen here.




I still have to go through the shots from the taiko performance.
Maybe it's four Kurosawa movies in two days, but I'm glad I opted to shoot in B&W mode. I'm really happy with this set.
