While I'm not normally much of an impressionistic/abstract photographer, I was noodling around with the digital the other day while waiting in the drive-through.

We'll see what the cat crazies on [livejournal.com profile] lj_photophile  make of it, if anything. Not feeling the love about that group lately. It's just too big,

In the meantime, here is more proof that acrylic paint is not calligraphy ink: my new banner featuring the badge that passed.  I will be content if [livejournal.com profile] didjiman  can actually read it.

If you do a series of those, the "art world" would love them, and they would be worth thousands. No kidding.

The Kanji are pretty good. I'm sure they mean something slightly different in Japanese from Chinese though. The 2nd is Wo (Harmony) The 3rd is Ji (knowledge . understanding). The 1st one escapes me a little. What is it?

Generally, you want to line up all the words together with the same width, so the "mouth" are too much to the right.

Oh good! Your readings are close to Sino-Japanese readings I was given, "wa" and "chi."

The first one is Ei (Honor).
