I did put both medallions in a pouch after I took them off Saturday night, then woke up in a cold panic around 4 AM on Monday because I remembered putting them in said pouch but couldn't remember which of the various bags of crap I'd packed the pouch in. It was in my purse the whole time. The pouch is currently sitting on the edge of the bathroom sink where I can't miss seeing it, until I determine a suitably safe place where I won't forget it's IN said safe place.
I have a serious history of award regalia foo. Chains break, tokens vanish, the string of pearl and garnet beads I had my Rose Leaf on exploded no less than three times. I've gotten in the habit of wearing a thing on the day I get it and then it gets to hang on either the bathroom mirror or my desk at home. The sole exception (so far) is my Defender of the West, which is on my green obi. And I strung my Cambium on a cord with a monkey netsuke and haven't managed to lose that one after three wearings.
