One of the things I never understood when I lived with Gaius was the stack of cardboard folios holding award scrolls under the futon sofa. Someone goes to the trouble of creating a piece of art for you, you should find a place to hang the thing, right?
It's a guy thing, I think. I found Wilhelm's AoA and his Queen's Order of Courtesy scrolls in rigid envelopes in a box as I was getting ready to leave the house to the new owners. The AoA had yet to be signed, as it was done after the event itself. I tracked down the original Brigantia Herald, the respective Duke and Duchess. As soon as I get it back (and I have another commission, which may be as of next week), they will be framed.
