I was able to figure out enough of what was on the page with rusty memories of Spanish 3 and my own recollections of first contact between Portugal and Japan. Basically it summarizes the arrival of the Portuguese in Japan, cross cultural pollenation of Western cuisine, the missionary efforts and eventual expulsion, etc.
