Earlier today, I accidentally erased an important spreadsheet and spent most of the afternoon reconstructing it from the last printed copy I had. Came home to find that a certain Annoying Person continues to post stupidity to one of my favorite forae.

Then Yagyu-dono posted the camp map for Rising Sun and "I want to snap your poseur neck like a twig and dance on your corpse" went away. My "what if?" hare-brained idea from September is going to happen. We have land at Estrella. Rising Sun is going to be real. We're making it happen.

Chambara Riverdance. Awesome.

If you haven't seen "Kung Fu Shuffle" - Steven Chow's take on the musical as seen thru Hong Kong martial arts film noir glasses... please to do so. You won't regret it.

(vaguely amusing note: I googled "chambara riverdance" and the top 5 items were all reviews of "Zatoichi". so much for originality of thought. %^) )

I'd love to have the chance to see the camp... do please arrnage for someone to take photos of it? I will be somehwere in Asia during Estrella week.
