Post Pumpkin Syndrome is a common occurrence: I work on some big project (the Tosenin Kosode or the karaginu mo): then what? I prepare to attend a big event (Estrella War, Costume Con): then what? It's all part of the cycle.

Well, as for what's next, I'll be going to Beltane with

mamapduck who is always good company. George le Curieux and I will be there with the hurdy gurdy to play for the Maypole dance. I've done it enough times that I am officially part of West Kingdom Tradition and that tweaks me in a way. The West Kingdom is ~~too freaking hidebound~~ more than a little too in love with tradition and the occasional shake up is good for it. I've been around long enough not to worry any more about coming off as The Ugly Easterner. It occurs to me that I still have the song sheets for the singalong gathering that did not happen at March Crown. May or may not do something with them. I'm gonna relax this weekend.

After that? Mitsuhide's obi. I need to finish that and get it to him.

After that? Decide exactly what I want to make with that 15 1/2" wide bolt of white silk I got off eBay.

Is today Bust Your Cell Phone Day? So far one of our guys lost one, another's was dropped from a 20' high scaffold, someone else's was crushed by a fork lift and a fourth was turned in as just plain not working.

If it's Thursday, you must be Kitsune! Emails and lj-friending from people who saw me or met me at Costume Con continue to arrive. And, because renown and karma are both Very Funny Things, one of them is using "Kitsune" as a handle. She doesn't play SCA. (At least, not yet.) I have been using my Powers For Good and am attempting to lure her to an upcoming event as she is relatively local.
