Well, that bodes well: I got a thank you email from the lady who came to the event yesterday. I shot off an email with a link to event info for A&S on the West Kingdom site. I think she'll like that.

Why can I not find a nice Hanes 38C bra all of a sudden? I may have to break down and buy the darned things online.

Mitsuhide's obi is done. (Well, it's drying....) I should be able to ship it out tomorrow after work. Who needs A&S displays when you can make a nice kid happy?

Decided to collect some of the "She Who Sucks Least" notes and edit and web them. Kept it simple, with hotlinks to most of the images cited in the front-tied-obi rant. FrontPage 2000 can handle that pretty well and I didn't have to screw around with formatting foo in HTML.

Plans progress for the imminent visit of [profile] gcmadtown81. This charming and demented young gentleman turned up on the Tousando boards a couple of years ago and not long after started addressing me as his Big Sister. He's coming out here for a few days in June. I've requested a couple days off from work and mayhem will likely ensue. We'll do touristy stuff in San Francisco, day-trip A&S on Saturday, and maybe even go tool around Napa looking for good eats and wine.

Hola Jehanne

(I hope I'm remembering how to spell your name correctly)

I was surprised and glad to see you post on another of my friends pages.

As a Herald, thank you for your editorial on Japanese names. It was just like a good dress, long enough to cover the subject and short enough to keep it interesting.

Yes, that is correct. Welcome to Bedlam. ;-D

Glad someone found it of use.

I am just randomly commenting to say that I quite enjoy the dress analogy (I do hope it's an analogy [or is it a metaphor?] - it's rather late [1am] and I've a lot more to do tonight, and my brain turned off at about 11pm...).

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find the source for the quote. The resources I've been able to check all say "unknown" or "anonymous" But it is nice and too the point. I do think it is an analogy.
