Oh, goody. HOMEWORK!

Before Costume Con 26, I was putting together a resources handout for my classes and discovered that kass_rants' links to her articles on Japanese clothing were returning a 404 error.

Today, someone on the Tousando was asking about Kamakura period clothing, so I decided to hop on over and see if those links were fixed. I discover that her timeline of Japanese clothing pages have now been condensed into a single page. Condensed A LOT.  No wonder the young lady was saying she couldn't find very much information on clothing for that period.

If someone is going to vandalize a perfectly good wheel, I guess I have to reinvent it.  Especially seeing as I found some rockin' good images when I was working on my class notes..... 

Not going to do Cynagua Coronet this weekend. Between the price of gas, the weird weather, the invite to K&A's party tomorrow night and bebemochi being in town, staying closer to home seems like a good idea.

The other thing I need to do is mend yet another stake loop on my wedge tent. (You know that breeze at Beltane? When I tore down I saw that the stake had sawed most of the way through the loop on one of the corners.)

That's a good chore for Saturday.

Ugh, I am so sorry Monday in JapanTown didn't work out. We were just like collective molasses. We got into town so much later than expected. I'm sorry we missed you.
