Never thought of myself as a party animal, but there is a party in my imminent future. A bottle of Shirakami sake was acquired last night, as well as a 350 ML of the girly pink stuff, which turns out to be Hana Awaka, from Ozeki. It's the Kool Aid of sake.

We've finally got a Daiso in southern California, somewhere in the northern part of San Diego and I'm going to be down there in about a month, so I'll check them out.
BTW, I got Japanese New Year's decorations at the Daiso in Daly City (gurdymonkey where you took me shopping)for about the same price as I paid for them in Nagoya last November.
