Exorcism

Over a week ago I received a private apology from someone I will refer to as "The Naysayer." It wasn't personal, he said. If I hurt you I'm sorry. Or words to that effect. He also offered to apologize publicly if I wished.
So, I cooled off for a couple of days, then I wrote to him explaining my point of view. (I even had a neutral third party vet the thing before I sent it because I'd given my word of honor to a friend that any response I made would be a reasoned one.) I agreed that a public apology was appropriate. That was a week ago. Nothing. Not a word, not a peep. Certainly no apology in the agreed venue.

While Yahoo has been known to get weird, there is no evidence that any of my other emails for that time period have gone astray. I am not going to ask if he got it after all this time. That would be lame and pathetic.

However, I added some content to my webpage, simply an editorial on what I do and why, because naysayers exist. They're entitled to hold their opinions, I am entitled to hold mine.  I'm not publicizing the link. I don't need  to. It exists to honor those who get it, and yes, to make me feel bettter.

EDIT: It must have made me feel better.  I uploaded the thing, folded my laundry, sat down to watch "Hellboy" and fell asleep on the sofa for a significant chunk of the afternoon, something that only happens when I really need it.

While the font is not the same on that page, it is bigger and better on the previously mentioned section. I am viewing with Foxfire. Maybe that makes a difference.

No, it's my software

I've had this problem with Front Page 2000 before. It looks fine in the Preview mode and then it scrambles code when I load it to my ISP. So,
I pasted the entire thing into MS Word, checked the font for consistency, then pasted it BACK into FP. NOW it seems to be fine.
