BOLD the ones you have seen.
Underline the ones you own (video or DVD). (Interesting. I only own one of these. I don't buy a lot of DVDs, what I do buy tends towards foreign films that aren't in endless rotation on cable.)
Strike-through those you saw and disliked (because this says as much as what you like).
Italicize those you'd like to see but haven't yet.
1. Pulp Fiction (1994). A House Favorite, just for Samuel L. Jackson.
2. The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-03). I like watching it better than I liked trying to re-read it as an adult.
3. Titanic (1997). The ship sank, the kid died. Get over it. It has its moments, but it's no A Night To Remember.
4. Blue Velvet (1986). So disturbing I still can't decide whether I like it or not.
5. Toy Story (1995). My nephews were very impressed when I told them I live near where Buzz and Woody came from. (Pixar is located in Emeryville, CA.) Have to say I prefer Monsters, Inc., but TS is still fun.

7. Hannah and Her Sisters (1986)
8. The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

Date: 2008-07-04 11:46 pm (UTC)Fantasia, Snow White, Cinderella, Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp are classics, Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderful Life are classics, My Fair Lady, Meet Me in St Louis, An American in Paris, and Singin in the Rain are classics, Arsenic and Old Lace, Harvey, Maltese Falcon (OK, have not seen that one but really) Those are classics. Actors like Audrey Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Rex Harrison, Liz Taylor, Judy Garland, (just to name some) acted in the classics. SIGH Now I want to watch a true classic.
Maybe I should take this rant onto my blog too!
