Anticipatory stress
Jul. 30th, 2007 06:01 pmWoke up with a headache today that just doesn't want to quit. It's conceivable I didn't hydrate quite enough this weekend, but I also have this major knot in my left shoulder. This means I probably won't finish all the touch up painting tonight, but I should still be able to make a good dent. [EDIT - got the body and overlap panels done - will have a look at the sleeves and collar tomorrow afternoon.) The white flowers are definitely benefitting from an extra layer of paint in spots.
At some point this week before departure I need to put purple goop in my hair because the skunk stripe is back. And laundry, and final packing, and there's an eye appointment in the middle of things on Wednesday afternoon because it was the first opening the opthalmologist had.
The Young Gentleman has confirmed when/where to meet for Sunday evening's festivities. And Their Royal Majesties just posted to the West-to-Pennsic list the following:
"I wanted to make sure that you all know about Opening Ceremonies on Sunday morning.
We'd like *everyone* to process with Us out to the field. Please wear your super spiffy garb. :-)"
I know what I'M wearing. I think Her Majesty, who is doing Persian and has made favorable compliments about some of my other wafuku in the past, will appreciate it.
