My journal, my rules.

Dear Goldilocks,
You followed me here from some other part of the internet.
You "friended" me without introducing yourself. This tells me you either didn't bother to read my profile or you did and you don't respect what I wrote there.
You're commenting on stuff in my journal that's more than six months old. Digging for gems or just plain nosy? Be aware that the important stuff is friends-locked. I'm not stupid.
Call me old fashioned, but I was raised to introduce myself, to RSVP, to knock before entering a room, to send thank you notes, to not drop in on someone unannounced.
Sure, I can't change the world, but I certainly can do something about the corners of it I have control over.
Livejournal does not define who my friends are, I do.
EDIT: June 6. "Goldilocks" was banned from posting in this journal this evening.
All she had to do was introduce herself. She chose not to. Choices have consequences.
