No, not THIS kind:

This kind - swap the Trader Joe's Triple Ginger Snaps for graham cracker crumbs, skip the topping? It looks like it might actually have a sufficiently gingery filling to qualify as weapons' grade.

Food porn pimpin' bastard, I'm going to have to buy a spring-form pan now!

Annoying things:

Having the copy machine that was repaired Thursday morning crap out with a jam in the exact same place on Monday afternoon with only one more section of the project to copy.

Having to wait until today to do much of my event unloading because I couldn't park close enough to the house last night.

Discovering that the cooler has developed a leak because the truck bed is awash in ice-melt.

Discovering that the plastic shoebox one has put in the cooler on top of the ice specifically to keep certain items from getting wet and soggy has two inches of water in it. We can kiss that banana, the leftover red bean cakes and the ziplock full of sesame sticks and wasabi peas goodbye.

Realizing the empty sake bottle I wanted to copy the name off of went into the trash at the event site. At least I remember where I bought it and what the bottle looked like.

Juggling my way around scaffolding with a full basket while trying to get into the laundry closet. (I cannot wait for the siding replacement next door to be done.)

Having the clueless idiot who has forced me to keep my instant message status invisible as a matter of routine for the past year ping me to find out if I'm safe from wildfires. You know, the ones that are 350 miles away.

Pleasing things:

Coming home from a big event with cash left over. With apologies to all my friends who merchant, I resisted the wiles of gleaming gemstones, artisan pottery, a decadent (and decadently priced!) silk linen blend, and a stunning memento mori paternoster. As a result, I am able to make headway against this month's credit card balance.

Honeycrisp apples.

Hearing good news from friends. (EDIT). Hearing good news from friends who might just come and visit me next month!

The weekly phone call from Dad.

*For the handful of you who may not know, Sei Shonagon's diary of life at the Imperial Court of Japan dates from about 1010 AD. It often includes lists with titles such as "Elegant things" or "Things that should be short" or "Hateful things."
