Quick post from Annapolis

Flight was uneventful, almost painless.

Jasper Fforde rocks. Thursday Next: First Among Sequels killed the time very nicely.

My sister Elaine's new dachsund is not a dog. Jack is a mouse in a dog costume. My sister Miriam's new dog, Lacy, is too sweet to be believed.

I suck at Wii. Though I confess it is rather difficult to play baseball or doubles tennis with two small boys leaping around in front of me. Did better at golf, though.

My nephews are HUGE. The Chinese jade good luck charms were a big hit. 

I had barbecue pork and shoofly pie(!) at the Amish market at lunch. I had crab bisque (AMAZING), sea bass stuffed with crab imperial and chocolate Irish cream cake for dinner. I will take mass transit into DC and hike around museums at the Mall tomorrow to attempt to minimize the damage.
