Jan. 29th, 2009 08:41 pmSake buy is accomplished - hit Ranch 99 this afternoon after work, picked up a bottle of Jinyu, some of the Hana Awaka that the fruity-girly-drink crowd likes, some Crazy Milk nigorizake and a couple of others that I remember having served last year that were good.
Dobuku is DONE. It's heavy. The flannel lining is cushy and if Pastiche has any more flannel ikat, I am getting some because this stuff is just YUM!
Interfacing has been acquired for some collar rebuilds on a couple of kosode that need a little oomph to make them lie a bit crisper. (Project for tomorrow night.)
Dye has been acquired for another shibori experiment, which may or may not be done in time for war.
I stumbled across some small battery powered LED tap lights that I want to experiment with for camp lanterns. The LED tea lights are kinda wimpy, but these things are plenty bright enough to shine through the synthetic shoji "paper", the light is just too white. Some colored clear wrap may be all that's needed.
