It truly pays to remember that one cannot help those too willfully ignorant and lazy to accept direction.

I have enough to do tonight without the idiocy on sca-jml. Final touches on drum stands, getting elbow deep in a pot of hot rice to make onigiri, garb selection and packing and a game of Truck Tetris because I just remembered I have to pack the Little Red Wagon in addition to several large drums, a picnic cooler, a dye pot and such.   A&S is at the @%$#&*! site where one cannot drive off the pavement, the park never has enough carts and I'm gonna have to camp at the ass end of the field so that the taiko lessons will not disturb other classes.

WTF was I thinking?

The swiving WAGON takes up too much swiving space in the back of the truck!!!!! I have been reduced to rolling my garb up and packing it inside the sewer-pipe taiko, which will also accomodate the tote full of kitchen supplies and will have to ride on the front seat. The small cooler will fit on the floor of the cab.

First batch of onigiri is done. Second pot of rice is simmering as I post this.

He: Morning bell tolling
Cobblestone clack of geta
Dew covered penance.....
Will the white rice of day-break
Match the glow seen from her face? 

She:  (Huh?????  SOMEONE is out of pratice, bless his heart, the big lug.)

Aiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TCM just aired Seven Samurai and Kagemusha's just starting. I cannot, must not stay up to watch Red Beard at 10:45. And of course, that's the one I haven't seen!
