Sometimes it's easy.
An image begets ideas
And it writes itself.
Sometimes, though, I sit and sigh,
Forced to admit I've nothing.

It's day 23. What can I say?

Oddly companionable moment of the day. I pulled up in front of the house to find Steve (one of my downstairs neighbors) working under the hood of his massive Chevy truck. I'd purchased a hasp with a built-in lock and ran upstairs to see if my heavy duty extension cord was long enough to go from the laundry closet to the curb. It was not, however, he had another 25 footer inside, which he was happy to offer me the use of and run from his apartment. He worked on his truck behind me while I drilled holes in the camper shell frame. We actually had a fairly enjoyable conversation while we worked.

Due to the trapezoidal profile of the shell and the configuration of the corner of the frame where I had to mount the hasp, I could only put two screws into the strap end of the hasp, the other two being too short to reach the recess on that side of the frame. I'll pick up some longer screws tomorrow and finish the job, but in the meantime, what's on there is screwed in tight, the lock section is solidly fastened to the outer door frame.
