Posted on behalf of a friend of mine. Please note, these are modern vintage kimono, obi and haori for women, as in "not period for the SCA", but still some very nice pieces. If I didn't have to rebuild the inside of my mouth and it wasn't so obviously a child's garment, I'd be all over the blue and green dip dyed haori with the gold embroidery....
I saw some of these pieces about a year ago and I can vouch for the fact that they have been carefully stored and taken care of.
Due to a financial necessity, I find myself needing to clear out some of my kimono collection (and a few Obi's). I acquired them while my family was stationed in Yokosuka Japan about 20 years ago. These have been stored in a Tin lined wood box since moving back to the states about 18 years ago.
I live in Gilroy California, but am willing to ship if we don't live near enough to each other to meet somewhere.
I've uploaded the pictures to my flickr account.
