Miss Ella does not lie.

 (From an absolutely awesome live recording in 1960, which unfortunately cuts out at the very end.)  After an unseasonably cool summer, we're getting high temps this week. The sun's been down about half an hour and it's still about 80 degrees. Taking a break from handsewing  because even linen in my lap was making me overly warm.

Got a note from JAF this afternoon confirming that he will be attending GWW - and a hat measurement so I can knock out an eboshi to go with his hitatare. Looking forward to actually meeting him in person.
