Everything is in the truck except the "everything basket," the hurdy gurdy and the duffel, which still requires clothing to be stuffed within it. I need to press my kosode before they go in.

Class notes are printed. We'll see if anyone turns up after all the scheduling drama.

Not taking the taiko. Part of me wants to, part of me is saying, "Moron, you've got a hole in your hand in a place no bandage wants to stay. Give it a few days to heal." It's heavy, it's loud and will likely not endear me to my neighbors, even if I CAN pack stuff inside it (because we only skinned one end of the pipe).

On the other hand, I will have the gurdy. I got a lot of mileage out of busking last year - the merchants seemed to like me being around and I made a little gas money into the bargain.

I was going to make new lanterns, having scored some Synskin at the Tap Plastics around the corner from work, which would definitely be more weatherproof than those paper ball lanterns from Cost Plus. Then I got derailed and did the A&S assault instead. Debating whether to play around with them tonight or take the makings to GWW or just set 'em aside and make them for Estrella....

It looks like stuff I've seen used in lamps; it's not as translucent as paper, but it seemed to let a good amount of light through. I'm going to try to send some shochu with my daughter for the HOCM Saturday night sake party; she's going to the war on Friday.
